Drilling

Using its diverse fleet of drill rigs and masts, TRA can drill practically any kind of small bore hole in any ground conditions or environments and under a wide variety of accessibility restrictions.

From a simple hand drill, through our lightest drill mast weighing in at just 200 kg to our 20-tonne excavator drill rig, TRA can provide a machine to suit any situation.  From 45mm diameter hand-drilled holes 1.5m deep, through 100mm percussion-drilled nail holes 6m deep and 150mm rotary-drilled permanent anchor holes 25m – 50m+ deep to 300mm diameter micro-piles, there is little that TRA cannot tackle.

TEAM can also perform line-drilling / stitch-drilling in hard rock to assist with excavation progress.

Casing

For non-cohesive or marine ground conditions, TRA can ensure that its drilled holes will stay open with the use of a variety of casing methods.

With systems as simple as PVC pipe punched into the ground to 100-273mm diameter Odex (like Simcas or Tubex) casing systems driven to depths of 20m and beyond, TEAM Rock Anchors is a specialist in the casing of loose or soft ground strata.

TRA are also capable of providing a screw casing system upon request.

As with our drilling services, TRA can perform these under a variety of valuation formats, including plant & equipment hourly / daily hire rates.

Diamond Coring / Cutting

TEAM Rock Anchors is also able to offer diamond coring as either part of its drilling package, or even as a stand-alone service.

TRA have a number of core-drilling units and have found high demand for the services, particularly on projects where TEAM are already performing the anchoring works and the client is happy to engage us at highly competitive rates to core through any existing reinforced concrete, without the need to provide minimum quantities or continuity of work.

TEAM would be happy to provide a free quotation for just the diamond-coring scope of works on any given project.  TRA are able to drill holes between 28 & 152mm using our present equipment, with larger diameter holes coming soon.

TRA can also provide a diamond-sawing service under a similar package-inclusion or stand-along basis.
